No, as the Gregson Running programs are all individualised, your fitness level, injury history, work schedule, and running goals are all taken into consideration to create a plan that is right for you, no matter your ability.
We provide unlimited communication via WhatsApp and email. Via WhatsApp we can provide constant support and quickly respond to more pressing issues such as a scheduling conflict, an injury concern, or simply a matter that needs to be discussed further in more detail. The Final Surge training app will also act as a daily communication portal. Team GR members will be able to communicate with us frequently via the comments section and mailbox within the Final Surge training app.
No. All of the Gregson Running programs are designed to be done outside of the gym, and all you will need to train is a pair of shoes and a watch. As part of Team GR, you will receive personalised videos with different strength workouts, however most exercises are to be done with your body weight or a resistance band.
Gregson Running uses a training app to deliver your training which enables us to monitor your progress and make any adjustments where necessary. As part of joining Team GR, use of the Final Surge training platform is included at no extra cost as part of your membership with Gregson Running.
Whilst it is our aim to build the fitness of Team GR runners without getting injured, we are aware that sometimes niggles or injuries can occur with running. If this does happen, training will be modified to include cross training that can be done on the bike, crosstrainer, or in the pool. Cross training is a great way to keep fit, and is something that we and other elite athletes around the world incorporate into our training when needed, ensuring our return from a niggle or injury is as smooth as possible.
There is no fixed contract term with Gregson Running. If you wish to leave Team GR, all we ask is that you provide us with 10 days notice before the end of the month’s training as we are always planning well in advance.
Yes. You are able to be in frequent contact with us via WhatsApp or the Final Surge training platform to discuss any changes.
The first step is to complete our Pre-Exercise Screening so we are able to find out your running history, goals, work/study schedule, if you’re dealing with any ongoing niggles, and if you have any health concerns. After receiving this information, we will be in touch via phone call to go into further detail about joining Team GR and creating your running program.
